A healthcare assistant assists healthcare observing, monitoring and recording patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight. Assist elderly person with activities of daily living including: bathing, transferring, hygiene, toileting, dressing. Meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping for client.
Healthcare assistants make sure the customer experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. It can also be the stepping stone into many other Chosen Services roles.
You’ll work under the guidance of a healthcare professional such as a nurse and your job will vary depending on where you’re based.
